St. Louis

On verge of making history, good thing right? No.

The Reason I make that picture giant is because the Cardinals history that could be made on Wednesday could be giant. The Cardinals have not been fully shutout in a three or more game series since well, since I was born, which was quite a while ago.

After being shutout twice, Wednesday's pitching matchup is as follows:

Pitching Matchup

St. LouisHouston
Jeff Suppan
1-6, 5.72 ERA

Last appearance:
7/31 vs PIT
5.1 IP, 0 ER
Dec = Win
Nelson Figueroa
3-2, 2.77 ERA

Last appearance:
8/27 at NYM
7.0 IP, 1 ER
Dec = Loss

Its all up to Nelson Figueroa. According to Jon Jay "Its a new month." Well that is true, but does it matter?

As a great First Baseman once said "This game is really crazy. Nobody can understand it, and there a lot of things that happen that you can't control." Well Albert here is something you should "understand" that your team NEEDS a win. Now go get it.

Cards Win 3-2. Well thats my St. Louis heritage talking, its what I would like to say that, but I love history I am going to truthfully say another 3-0 Houston Victory.

Go Cards!! New Month, New players, New game. New Results??? Not likely.
